I've had a nasty head cold the last few days, so in order to keep myself in bed but busy I knitted myself up a big stripey cardigan. I used giant no.35 needles and a lot of different yarns from my stash (including some gorgeous hand-spun yarn from Fabulosity - thanks again Joy!) and managed to finish 48 hours after I started. I hadn't done any knitting an a couple of years - I usually crochet but hadn't done that even in at least a year - but once I got into it everything went pretty fast and easy. It's just 2 long scarves stitched together up the back, then stitched at the sides up to the armhole area. Easy, and if you use all different yarns it's a great way to clear out your stash.

Most gorgeous, I love it! As always, you come up with the most amazingly wonderful creations! I'm going to link to this on my Facebook yarn page, everyone should see it!
Dear Jesus this is more than amazing. I can't believe you finished it so fast and it looks so cool! Way to be prductive, Sunshine.
this is tooo good! It reminds me of the cardigans that Free People have for sale for $33948937.00 but its wayyy better. I don't know how to knit in the round yet, so this is grand way to make something super rad...thanks for sharin'
Thank you everyone!!
paige - I actually saw the free people one before I started this, but I didn't like the yarns they used at all. Otherwise it is the same style, though there's is done in one piece, not two stitched together like mine. I don't do in the round yet either - but one of my moms says it is easier than regular needles - you just go around and around until you're done.
