Comme des Garcons polo shirt, with 2 extra shirts attached at the spines. There are both sane and an insane ways to wear it, but I like it best as I think it was intended - with the extra shirts just hanging at the back like a strange little capes. From the front it's perfectly normal, and from the back it's perfectly nuts.
with 1950s pleated skirt, Marni shoes.

Sunshine, you are the QUEEN of CDG. Always wear it so well, especially with the cute lil Tenenbaum skirt.
Thank you Isabel!! The pieces keep coming to our Saks outlet for like 1/10 the original price. I can't help myself! They are art. Total investment pieces.
Boys do not get them though. I wear this stuff and know it's just for me
this is so awesome!
HOLY CRAP YOU LIVE LIKE 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM ME NOW.
I've been following your blog for yearsss (like 5? I found you on flickr first) and then kinda forgot about it for a while and NOW YOU'RE ALMOST LOCAL! so I guess I should quit being a lurky lurkerson and speak up more often and welcome you to our fine corner of this sweaty state, haha. I realize all this probably makes me sound deranged but I've always thought you were super rad and I'm just an excitable kinda girl sometimes.
You should visit St. Pete some time! It's pretty nifty over here too.
miss mae - Holy cow! I don't know much of anyone down here - my best friend from childhood still lives in town but she has kids and a husband and a grown up life and all that.
I've been meaning to get up to st.pete to go to the good record store and the vintage shops. we have none of that down here. we should arrange a little meet up! email me w the link at the left <<<< and we'll work it out!
